maidbrite llc is the result of the ingenuity and entrepreneurial skills of founder, Mary Jo Dean. In 1988, Mary Jo recognized that a cleaning company would meet a myriad of needs: for good, personable, reliable cleaning services for area residents; for flexible, respectful employment; and for a livelihood for herself that would fulfill her own ambition and skills.

In those early years, Mary Jo ran and managed the company from her apartment, and cleaned homes along side a handful of part-time employees.

Now in the 2020’s, years later, maidbrite employs 10-15 full and part time workers, and services over 200 homes in the Heights and surrounding areas.

As of Jan 1, 2021, Mary Jo sold maidbrite to her capable and diligent daughter, MaRiahh Walker-Hodgkinson. MaRiahh has worked at maidbrite since 2016, and worked their way up the latter starting as a supply and inventory worker, to a house cleaner, then an office assistant, an office manager, and finally the CEO and owner of maidbrite.
